On November 27, the “One School, One Signature Program” initiative—“Telling the Stories of Mass Media” Immersive Experience Exhibition—jointly organized by the Student Affairs Office and the CCYL Committee and hosted by the School of Management, was officially launched at the college’s Creative Plaza. Xie Jingwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of the college, and Vice Presidents Cheng Guizhen and Zhu Dan attended the opening ceremony, together with heads of secondary schools and functional departments, as well as faculty and student representatives.

At the opening ceremony, the Art Troupe of the School of Management presented an energetic dance performance, along with choral and other stage programs, and relevant awards were presented on site. In his address, Xie Jingwei noted that “true stories are those that can be heard, touched, and emotionally shared. The ‘One School, One Signature Program’ initiative is designed to inspire faculty and students to discover, create, and convey stories with warmth and human depth.” Vice President Zhu Dan then officially declared the exhibition open.

Centered on immersive engagement, the exhibition constructed a narrative space around six thematic dimensions: Words, Visuals, Sound, Illustration, Images, and Reflection. The Words and Visuals zones presented authentic stories through text and video; the Sound and Illustration zones enhanced interactivity through original audio recordings and collaborative creations based on the college emblem; while the Images and Reflection zones guided visitors to think and reflect through physical tokens and situational installations.

The exhibition received an enthusiastic response. In the Sound zone, a junior student remarked after listening to the recordings, “These real voices made me feel as if I had stepped into the storytellers’ lives—they were deeply moving.” Particularly notable was the “Time Embrace” AI-powered image interaction in the Images zone. Using artificial intelligence, the curatorial team merged photographs of several faculty members from their youth with present-day images, creating a visual dialogue across time that attracted many faculty and students. A young faculty member commented, “This presentation helped me better understand the significance of educational legacy.” The energy gathered from these immersive experiences will continue to encourage faculty and students to tell more Mass Media stories that are warm in tone and reflective of the spirit of the times.
