On November 29, the awards ceremony for the Hunan College Students’ “Civilized Traffic, Creating Together” Traffic Safety Publicity Campaign was held at Hunan Broadcasting System. The campaign was jointly organized by the Hunan Provincial Department of Public Security, the Provincial Department of Education, and the Communist Youth League Committee of Hunan Province.
Since its launch, the campaign attracted 115 publicity teams from 68 higher education institutions across the province and collected a total of 532 traffic safety–themed cultural works. Following expert review, 25 outstanding publicity teams, 50 award-winning works, and 10 Outstanding Organization Awards were selected. Our college delivered an impressive performance, receiving a total of nine honors. Among them, the college was awarded the Outstanding Organization Award, and the “Xiangchuan · Voice of Traffic Safety” publicity team was recognized as an Outstanding Publicity Team. These achievements highlight students’ creativity in promoting traffic safety culture and demonstrate the solid results of the college’s campus civility initiatives.
Over the years, the college has placed strong emphasis on traffic safety education and awareness-raising, regularly organizing activities such as traffic safety outreach programs, themed study sessions, civilized traffic guidance, and short-video production. Looking ahead, the college will continue to leverage the strengths and advantages of its media-related disciplines, actively contribute to province-wide efforts to promote traffic safety awareness and responsible conduct among college students, and consistently inject youthful momentum into the creation of a safe, orderly, and harmonious traffic environment.
