
On December 7, the closing ceremony of the National Finals of the Inaugural AI-Assisted Digital Character Innovation Design Competition, part of the 2025 Belt & Road and BRICS Competition of Skills Development and Technology Innovation, was successfully held at HNMMC.

At the ceremony, Shen Jianfei, Member of the CPC Committee and Vice President of HNMMC, delivered comments and a summary of the competition. He highlighted that the student team entries stood out for their creativity and proficient application of AI technology, while the teacher team entries deeply integrated industry practices with teaching experience, fully demonstrating the high-quality outcomes of digital skills talent cultivation. All participants upheld the competition spirit of “respect rules, respect opponents, respect professionalism”, completing their performances with focused dedication. The judging panel conducted evaluations with rigor, and the technical expert group provided full support throughout. As the organizing institution, HNMMC, together with co-organizers Boke Technology Group Co., Ltd. and DIAMONDYU Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., ensured seamless organization and service, laying a solid foundation for the successful execution of the finals. Afterwards, Chief Judge Liang Jicheng and industry expert Tang Zhiping provided professional evaluations of the participants’ performances.
The competition showcased China’s achievements in cultivating talent at the interdisciplinary field of digital creativity and artificial intelligence. It injected new momentum into promoting the application of AI technologies in the cultural and creative industries and deepening the skills exchange and cooperation among BRICS countries and nations along the Belt & Road Initiative. Moving forward, HNMMC will continue to provide platforms for young skilled talents to showcase their abilities and foster growth, contributing to the high-level development of the digital creative industry.
