
The Miss Tourism World 2025 China Finals recently concluded successfully in Huainan, Anhui Province. Li Yiting, a student majoring in Character Image Design at the School of Visual Arts of HNMMC, stood out from over 100,000 contestants representing 21 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country. She won third place nationwide in the grand final and was also listed among the “Top Ten Models”, earning double honors and bringing pride to the college.
As one of the three major international beauty pageants in the world, the Miss Tourism World competition has, since its introduction to China, continued to promote the integration of culture and tourism as well as brand communication, exerting a broad and lasting social influence. This year’s event featured multiple segments, including Hanfu presentation, swimsuit showcase, and evening gown performance, comprehensively evaluating contestants’ physical expressiveness, cultural understanding, and overall competence. With her solid professional skills and confident stage presence, Li Yiting impressed the judges and successfully advanced to the top three.
This is not the first time Li Yiting has made her mark on the national stage. In the 2024 “Belt and Road” International Supermodel Competition China Finals, she also ranked among the national top three, receiving repeated recognition for her exceptional talent. Her continuous achievements are a powerful testament to the School of Visual Arts’ educational model of “learning through competitions and integrating competitions with teaching”, as well as a vivid reflection of the collaborative talent cultivation within the Digital Media Art and Design program cluster, fully demonstrating the school's remarkable success in synergizing professional instruction with practical training.Looking ahead, the schoolwill continue to deepen teaching reform, broaden diverse practical pathways, and empower more students to shine brightly on the professional stage.
