On July 31, the Hunan Provincial Final of China International College Students’ Innovation Competition 2025 concluded successfully at Universityof South China. This year’s competition was highly competitive, with 574,000 projects submitted and 2.13 million participants across the province. After multiple rounds of selection—including campus preliminaries, online evaluations, and provincial on-site defense—four teams from HNMMC stood out, winning three first prizes and one third prize. Both the quantity and quality of the awards set a historical record, fully demonstrating the outstanding spirit of HNMMC media students in “daring to explore and innovating with skill”.
Since the launch of the competition, HNMMC has attached great importance to it, treating the event as a key platform to deepen reform in innovation and entrepreneurship education and to enhance talent cultivation. The college meticulously organized and coordinated support, providing participating teams with comprehensive assistance and resources. This historic breakthrough highlights HNMMC’s remarkable achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship education and reflects the college’s ongoing efforts to deeply integrate digital technology with cultural communication. For projects advancing to the national competition, the college will integrate high-quality resources both inside and outside the campus, providing intensive incubation and targeted guidance, aiming to achieve further success on the national stage.
Looking ahead, HNMMC will continue to implement the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Provincial People’s Government’s “Seven Ones Initiative” supporting student innovation and entrepreneurship. The college will further deepen the “promote learning, teaching, and innovation through competitions” approach, build an innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem that integrates multiple departments and resources, and provide strong momentum for cultivating versatile innovative talents for the new era.
