Recently, the list of national winners for the 17th National Advertising Art Design Competitionfor College Students was announced. Student teams from HNMMC’s Digital Media Art and Design program cluster, guided by their instructors, achieved remarkable success—winning one First Prize, three Third Prizes, and four Excellence Awards.
The National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students is a national-level discipline competition sponsored by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, coordinated by the Teaching Steering Committee of Journalism and Communication in Higher Education Institutions of Ministry of Education, and jointly organized by Communication University of China and the Advertising Education Committee of the China Association of Higher Education. With creativity at its core and innovation-oriented talent cultivation as its fundamental goal, the competition is one of China’s most authoritative and influential events in the liberal arts field.
Guided by HNMMC’s educational philosophy of “rooted in Hunan, serving the nation, advancing the cultural industry, and highlighting media excellence”, the Digital Media Art and Design program cluster has continuously advanced teaching reform and actively encouraged students to participate in high-level academic competitions. Since the launch of this year’s National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students, the college has carried out extensive mobilization and meticulous preparation. Over several months of collaboration, teachers and students worked closely together—from strategy analysis and creative conception to visual presentation—continuously refining their submissions and fully embodying the college motto: “Creativity Lights up Your Life”. Throughout the process, the guiding instructors provided comprehensive and detailed mentorship, while participating students showed strong dedication, teamwork, and professional competence through repeated refinement of their works.
These awards not only recognize the professional excellence and hard work of both teachers and students but also vividly demonstrate HNMMC’s commitment to highlighting its media-oriented characteristics and serving the cultural industry. The achievement further inspires more students to engage in creative practice and pursue new heights of professional innovation.
