On September 22, a delegation of 26 participants from the “Seminar for Media Professionals of the Democratic Republic of the Congo”, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China, visited HNMMC for an exchange visit.

Accompanied by Xie Jingwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee, the participants toured the All-Media Integrated Training Center, where they experienced cutting-edge technologies such as the 5G Smart Radio Station. They then visited the college’s Smart Classroom and attended an open lecture titled “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Digital Media Art Creation”, delivered by Professors Ni Dong and Tang Kai, key faculty members of the Digital Media Art Program Cluster. The lecture provided a systematic overview of the frontier applications of artificial intelligence in digital media art creation, deepening the participants’ understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture in the digital media context.
This event served as an important practice in implementing President Xi Jinping’s “China-Africa Broadcasting, TV and Audiovisual Innovation Cooperation Initiative”. It aimed to strengthen China-Africa exchanges and cooperation in the field of digital media and to showcase China’s—especially Hunan Province’s—achievements and innovations in this sector. The successful hosting of the event marks a solid step forward for HNMMC in international training and represents another significant achievement of the college’s Digital Media Art Program Cluster in serving international industry exchange and enhancing global communication capacity.
