On October 15, HNMMC successfully held a Mental Health Awareness Week fair under the theme “Health Without Distance, Cognition Without Bias”. Zhu Dan, member of the CPC Committee and Vice President of the college, attended the event.
Each secondary school thoughtfully planned a variety of engaging and interactive activities. The School of Journalism and Communication organized games such as “Leave Your Smile”,“Psychological Cognition Matching”,“Trust Walk”, and “Dynamic Hula Hoop” to help students enhance self-awareness and develop a positive mindset through joyful participation. The School of Visual Arts set up activities including the “Bias Interaction Wall”,“Role Model Wall for Seeking Help”,“Bias Crusher”, and “Mind Tree Hole” to guide students in identifying cognitive misunderstandings and paying attention to their mental health. The School of New Media Technology designed a “stamp collection challenge + interactive games” experience featuring “Palm Print Wall”,“Free Hug Station”, and “Flying Chess Adventure”, encouraging students to express emotions and face their inner thoughts. The School of Management launched a “Piece Together Sunshine, Relieve Stress Together” rainbow puzzle challenge, creating a lively atmosphere where students could release pressure through teamwork. Students actively participated in the activities, breaking down mental health stigma and sharing joyful moments together.
This fair was an important initiative by the college to promote the campus psychological culture of “educating every mind and nurturing with wholehearted care”. Centered on the concept of “edutainment”, the event featured multiple creative experience zones that integrated mental health knowledge into fun games, helping faculty and students relieve stress and enhance communication. By adopting innovative formats, the event broke away from traditional approaches to mental health education, fostering a campus culture of understanding, inclusiveness, and mutual support, and injecting new vitality into the building of a harmonious campus.
