Recently, the national finals of the 8th China Vocational Education Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition concluded in Huangshi, Hubei Province. The faculty team from HNMMC—comprising Zeng Li, Guo Keke, Liao Yanqiong, and Zhu Zhou—stood out among more than 130 teaching teams from across the country. With their outstanding on-site performance, they won the first prize in the Business and Commerce category of the Teacher Track.
Hosted by the China Vocational Education Association, this year's competition was themed "Fostering Craftsmanship through Vocational Education, Building Dreams through Innovation and Entrepreneurship". It aimed to explore innovative thinking and practical achievements in vocational education, promote the integration of professional education and innovation-entrepreneurship education, and provide a broad platform for vocational education teachers and students to showcase their accomplishments.
The college's entry, titled Creative Design and Production of Digital Omnimedia Products, integrated innovation and entrepreneurship practices into teaching models and strategies. The team guided students in developing their innovative and entrepreneurial capabilities, using digital omnimedia approaches to promote products and achieve commercial transformation.
This award marks a significant achievement in the college's ongoing efforts to deepen vocational education reform and promote innovation and entrepreneurship education. Building on this success, HNMMC will continue to uphold the principle of "promoting teaching, learning, and innovation through competitions". By effectively applying competition outcomes to teaching practices, the college aims to continuously improve its talent cultivation model and enhance the quality of education and instruction. This will inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of the "Double High-Level Plan" and contribute more to nurturing high-caliber technical and skilled talents, master craftsmen, and national-level artisans.
