On May 21, the results of the 19th "Xia Yan Cup" National Excellent Film Screenplay Awards were announced, and the screenplay Qinqi, supported by HNMMC, won the Excellent Screenplay Award in the College category.
The award-winning script Qinqi was written by young playwright Tang Lingli from Hunan Education Television. The script draws inspiration from the "Doctor Village" in Liuyang, Hunan, and several colleges and universities in the province. It is a film centered around the theme of family values inheritance, presenting the rural revitalization landscape and highlighting the role of education in cultivating virtue.
The "Xia Yan Cup" is a national first-class award approved by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China. It is currently the highest honor in Chinese film literature and the only government-sponsored film script award in the country. This year, 49 works were selected from over 1,000 qualified entries. Winning this award marks a significant breakthrough for HNMMC in the field of education-themed film and television creation. It also reflects the college's deep integration with cooperative partners and the new achievements of industry-education integration in the cultural and creative sectors.
