To ignite students' passion for innovation and entrepreneurship and enhance their competitiveness in the job market, HNMMC held a lecture on the afternoon of May 6 as part of the "Entrepreneurs on Campus: Sharing Stories of Employment and Entrepreneurship" series. The event, jointly organized by the Admissions and Employment Office and the Youth League Committee, took place at the Academic Lecture Hall on the third floor of the library. The keynote speaker was Cao Rui, an outstanding alumna from the Class of 2008, founder of Shenzhen Kukan Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., and general manager of Changsha Sajiao Media Co., Ltd.
Under the theme "From Producer to Cultural Export Pioneer", Cao Rui shared her career journey across various industries, including media, auctions, and cultural and creative sectors. Her vivid entrepreneurial story and emotional ups and downs offered students and faculty a compelling lesson in real-world innovation and entrepreneurship. During the interactive session, Cao addressed student questions on topics such as "key elements in career transition" and "strategies for managing entrepreneurial risk". Drawing from the current trends in the media industry, she provided detailed advice on market analysis, resource integration, and crisis planning.
Following the lecture, He Zhanbing, Deputy Party Secretary and President of HNMMC, presented Cao Rui with a letter of appointment as an entrepreneurship mentor.
The "Entrepreneurs on Campus: Sharing Stories of Employment and Entrepreneurship" lecture series aims to create a platform for face-to-face exchanges between students and successful entrepreneurs, showcasing exemplary figures in employment and entrepreneurship. It is designed to help students develop sound perspectives on employment and entrepreneurship while fostering a supportive campus environment for career development.
