On April 22, HNMMC held a grand launch ceremony for its 2025 "One School, One Brand" campus culture program at the Creative Plaza. College leaders Li Sanfu, He Zhanbing, Xie Jingwei, Xu Jingxue, Zhu Dan, and Yang Jinhui attended the event, which was hosted by Zhu Dan. Heads of secondary schools, functional departments, and representatives of faculty and students also participated in the ceremony.
The event began with a vibrant traditional Chinese lion dance performance. Party Secretary Li Sanfu and Deputy Party Secretary and President He Zhanbing jointly performed the eye-dotting ceremony for the lion, symbolizing good fortune. President He Zhanbing then officially announced the launch of the "One School, One Brand" campus culture program.
In his speech, Deputy Party Secretary Xie Jingwei noted that the "One School, One Brand" initiative is a signature program rooted in HNMMC’s media-focused strengths and designed for the long-term growth of both faculty and students. It serves as a vivid embodiment of campus culture and an innovative practice of ideological and political education.
Following the launch ceremony, the first showcase of the 2025 series began with the "Beauty in Multilingual Harmony" Sino-Foreign Cultural Exchange Exhibition, organized by the School of International Communication. International students from Madagascar, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, and other countries, along with trainees from the Comoros Radio and Television Program Production Workshop, joined HNMMC faculty and students in experiencing the richness of traditional Chinese culture.
The "One School, One Brand" initiative, introduced this year by the Student Affairs Office and the Youth League Committee, is a flagship campus culture program. Organized on a monthly basis, the program forms a cultural matrix, with each secondary school taking turns to host an event. This initiative not only delves into the distinctive academic strengths of each school, transforming classroom knowledge into immersive cultural experiences, but also establishes a diverse cultural education platform. Students engage in activities such as intangible cultural heritage experiences, art exhibitions, and academic salons, enriching their minds and nurturing their character. By integrating "disciplinary strengths + cultural IP," the initiative offers dual empowerment, fostering a distinctive media-focused model of holistic education. It provides fertile ground for cultivating a new generation of media professionals who possess both cultural depth and innovative spirit.
