Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the list of winners for the 2024 China International College Students' Innovation Competition Grand Final. Our college's faculty and student teams stood out in this prestigious competition, winning one gold award and two bronze awards—setting a new record for our college in this event and showcasing the commitment of young students to driving social development through innovation.

Jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and 11 other central ministries and commissions as well as provincial-level governments, the China International College Students' Innovation Competition is currently one of the highest-level, most widely participated, and most influential student competitions in the country. It has evolved into a major international innovation event engaging "thousands of universities and millions of participants from hundreds of countries". The 2024 competition attracted 5.14 million projects and 20.836 million participants from 5,406 colleges and universities across 153 countries and regions. Since the launch of the competition, our college has placed great emphasis on project development and support, providing comprehensive resources and services for participating teams. By implementing a full-cycle training model that integrates "course instruction + project incubation + competition practice", the college has continuously stimulated students' innovative potential. Over the past three years, the award rate at both national and provincial levels has steadily increased, ultimately resulting in a qualitative leap in innovation and entrepreneurship outcomes.

This historic breakthrough highlights the college's cross-disciplinary educational strengths in "media + technology + culture" and marks significant progress in the deep integration of academic programs with digital technologies. Moving forward, the college will continue to advance its educational philosophy of "culture as the soul, technology as the wings, innovation as the core", contributing more interdisciplinary and innovative talents to the development of a culturally strong nation.
