HNMMC Successfully Hosted 2025 Advanced Training Program for Hunan’s Broadcasting Industry

From March 24 to 28, the 2025 Advanced Training Program for Hunan's Broadcasting Industry, sponsored by the Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau and organized by Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College (HNMMC), was successfully held in Changsha. He Hui, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, and He Zhanbing, Deputy Party Secretary and President of HNMMC, attended and delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.

In his address, He Hui emphasized that this training program is a key initiative for: deepening the understanding of the core tenets of Xi Jinping's Thought on Culture and better fulfilling the mission of building a culturally strong province; scientifically grasping the rich connotations of of cultural-technological integration to empower the high-quality development of county-level integrated media centers; accurately aligning with the strategic directions of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the provincial government to better define responsibilities in support of major provincial initiatives.

He Zhanbing remarked that hosting the seminar reflects the college's commitment to serving industry development, while also representing a significant step in advancing industry-education integration and improving institutional capabilities.

Following the opening ceremony, He Hui delivered the first lecture titled In-depth Study and Implementation of the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee: Further Enhancing the Brand of Hunan’s Broadcasting Sector. A total of 51 participants—leaders and technical backbones from integrated media centers across cities and counties in the province—engaged in the five-day training.

With the theme Advancing Deep Integration of Culture and Technology, Cultivating New Quality Productive Forces in the Broadcasting Industry, the program featured a mix of theoretical lectures, case studies, and on-site visits. Participants explored topics such as innovative practices in media integration, AI-powered short videos and livestreaming, and systemic transformations in media organizations. The School of Continuing Education at HNMMC ensured the success of the training through meticulous organization, strict management, and thoughtful services.

At the closing ceremony, Zhang Yuanping, Level I Division Rank Official at the Personnel Division of the Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, and Zhu Dan, Party Committee Member and Vice President of HNMMC, attended and presented certificates of completion to the participants.

        The successful hosting of this advanced training program marks another milestone for HNMMC following its organization of last year's training program for middle-level officials of the Party School of the National Radio and Television Administration, and the seminar for media professionals from Latin American countries. In recent years, the School of Continuing Education has aligned its work with the national "Double High-Level" initiative, the college’s 14th Five-Year Plan, and the goal of developing into a top-tier vocational college with undergraduate-level programs. By actively expanding the vocational training market and strengthening ties with industry, the college has achieved significant progress in enhancing the quality and efficiency of continuing education, injecting new vitality into regional economic and industry development.
