To implement the work requirements of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Hunan Provincial Government, which emphasize "accelerating from the start and gaining momentum right from the beginning", and to promote the development of the micro-short drama ecosystem across the province, He Hui, the Deputy Director-General of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Party Secretary and Director-General of the Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, visited the jointly built Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College for research and discussions on March 21st. He was accompanied by Wu Yipeng, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director-General of the Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, as well as Li Sanfu, the Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee, and He Zhanbing, the President of HNMMC.
During the visit, He Hui and his team toured the college's International Chinese Language and Culture Dissemination Base, the Program Production and Broadcasting Studio, and the Industry (Station) -Education (College) Integration Development Center. They gained in-depth insights into the college's talent cultivation, major construction, integration of industry and education, and education and training.
At the meeting, He Hui listened to an introduction to the overall situation of the college and its progress in the integration of industry and education. He fully affirmed the college's contributions to media talent training and cultural industry development. He pointed out that after years of development, the college has demonstrated distinct characteristics, including a well-defined position, clear goals, strong branding, good infrastructure, strong faculty, excellent disciplines, and a large pool of talented individuals. The college's high-quality development is commendable.
He Hui emphasized that the Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, as a partner of Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College, has always paid close attention to the college's development. The purpose of this visit is to jointly discuss development strategies and create a blueprint for the future. Moving forward, the focus will be on strengthening cooperation in four key areas: first, strengthening cooperation in talent training, especially for cultivating urgently needed talents in micro-short drama direction and acting; second, enhancing cooperation in construction of majors by promoting the adaptation of media vocational education to the province's "Two Excellences Plan" reforms; third, reinforcing cooperation in industrial development by deeply integrating the education chain, talent chain, innovation chain, and industrial chain; and fourth, strengthening project cooperation to further enhance the "Hunan Broadcasting" brand.
