On December 6th, the Philippine Press Officials and Journalists Training Program, organized by the Ministry of Commerce, visited our college for an exchange. Xie Jingwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee, extended a warm welcome to the participants on behalf of the college and accompanied the 11-member delegation on a campus tour.
The training program members focused on visiting the college's history museum and the omnimedia comprehensive training room, where they learned about the college's development journey, the construction of its media-focused academic programs, and its achievements in international exchange and cooperation. Additionally, they participated in a tea-tasting and cultural exchange with faculty and students from the Mingyu Tea Art Society, experiencing the profound heritage of Chinese tea culture and the unique charm of China's intangible cultural heritage firsthand.
It is reported that the Ministry of Commerce has been hosting media-themed training programs for developing countries in Hunan for over a decade. Since 2017, our college has successfully undertaken 12 batches of such programs, training more than 400 participants. This initiative has expanded our college's exchanges and cooperation in media vocational education with developing countries, enhanced our international influence and reputation, and provided a platform for sharing China's narratives and promoting outstanding traditional Chinese culture.
