From November 12th to 13th, Liu Qingying, the Dean of Elemente, led a group of seven, including faculty members and Malaysian alumni, to visit our college. Li Sanfu, the Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee, Xie Jingwei, the Deputy Secretary, and Vice Presidents Xu Jinxue and Lei Junlin met with the visiting delegation.
Li Sanfu warmly welcomed Liu Qingying and her group to the college and affirmed the achievements made in exchange and cooperation between the two sides in recent years. Xie Jingwei introduced the basic situation of our college, its educational characteristics, major offerings, and achievements in international exchange and cooperation. Accompanied by Xu Jinxue, the delegation watched a performance by the Pop Music major. Lei Junlin, on behalf of the alumni association of the college, welcomed the Malaysian alumni back to Hunan and exchanged ideas with them on the original work "Luban Series Vocational Animation Dolls" designed by our faculty and students.
During their visit, the delegation toured the campus and experienced our college's specialized courses, including singing, play rehearsals, and video broadcasting and hosting classes at the School of Film and Media Art. Liu Qingying and her group highly praised the college’s campus environment, training facilities, and talent development programs. Based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed in March of this year, both sides further discussed cooperation on establishing an overseas internship base for international students, faculty and student exchange visits, and sharing of teaching resources.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia, and the “Year of China-Malaysia Friendship", our college, together with Malaysian educational institutions, is advancing exchange and cooperation, exploring new pathways for the internationalization of vocational education, and contributing to deepening mutual understanding in the field of vocational education and enhancing the quality of talent cultivation between the two countries.
