On June 10, Cheng Guizhen, Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of the college, led a team from the School of International Communication to visit Hunan Jinjing Tea Industry Co., Ltd., Hunan Xiang Tea High-tech Co., Ltd. and other enterprises for investigations on talents cultivation of specialties, student internships, and high-quality employment. The relevant persons in charge of the School of International Communication participated in the trip.

Accompanied by the leaders of the enterprises, Cheng Guizhen and her entourage visited the ecological tea garden and tea-making workshop of Hunan Jinjing Tea Group, the tea museum, tea scientific research base, and e-commerce marketing base of tea products of Hunan Xiang Tea High-tech Co., Ltd. During the visit, they learned about the companies’ development history, development planning, employment needs and the work situation of college graduates in these companies.

In the research meeting with enterprise representatives, Cheng Guizhen said that Jinjing Tea Group and Xiang Tea Group, as the leading enterprises in the tea industry in Hunan Province, have a good foundation for cooperation with the Leisure Service and the Management Speciality of HNMMC. Graduates of the college have been well trained and developed in the companies. The purpose of this visit and research is to expand the horizontal aspect of cooperation, deepen the depth of cooperation, and further explore cooperation in projects such as the construction of training bases, the pilot of modern apprenticeships, and the construction of intangible cultural heritage master studios, so as to open up a win-win situation with resource sharing, collaborative education and common development.

The two parties reached an agreement on school-enterprise cooperation and student internships, and held an unveiling ceremony for the "Internship and Employment Base".
