On February 16, the college held an announcement meeting for the appointment of school cadres in the academic lecture hall. Wang Jianhua, Deputy Secretary of the Education Work Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and a member of the Party Group of the Education Department of Hunan Province, and Pan Jun, director of the Personnel Department of the Education Department of Hunan Province, attended the conference, which was presided over by Yuan Weikun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College. All college leaders, middle-level cadres, and professional and technical personnel with vice senior titles or above participated in the conference.

At the meeting, Wang Jianhua read out the provincial Party Committee’s appointment decision: Comrade He Zhanbing shall serve as the president of HNMMC. In his speech, Wang pointed out that the appointment of He Zhanbing as the president of Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College was a decision made by the provincial Party Committee after comprehensive consideration and careful study according to the needs of the college's leadership team. He hoped that He Zhanbing would continue to maintain the spirit of hard work and entrepreneurship after taking up his new position, focusing on politics, learning, responsibility, integrity, powerful work style, and continuously reinforcing learning, conducting in-depth research, and doing solid work to promote the college’s reform and development to reach a new level.

Yuan Weikun, Secretary of the Party Committee of HNMMC, said that he resolutely supported and obeyed the decision of the provincial Party Committee, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the provincial Party Committee, the Organization Department of the provincial Party Committee, and the Education Work Committee for their concern and support to the college, and extended sincere welcome and congratulations to Comrade He Zhanbing to take up his post in the college. He Zhanbing made a statement, expressing his gratitude to the Party organization for its training and trust, as well as the support of the teachers and students of the college.
