HNMMC Held a Job Fair for the 2022 Graduates

In the afternoons on November 23 to 25, the college held a job fair for the 2022 graduates. A total of 92 employers participated in the job fair, providing 1,689 jobs for graduates, mainly covering three specialty categories: journalism and communication, financial business, and electronic information.

At the scene covered with a warm atmosphere, the graduates held their carefully prepared resumes and walked through the flow of people with confidence, looking for ideal units. They actively communicated with HR, consulting and learning about the company’s status, employment conditions, career development orientation, personnel needs, salary, contract signing, etc., and then submitted their resume rationally and cautiously. Participating employers were fully satisfied with the job fair and hoped to build a closer contact with the college, further develop school-enterprise cooperation, and establish an internship training and employment base to prepare talent reserves for enterprises in advance, and build a practical platform for graduates. According to statistics, more than 1,000 graduates participated in the double-election job fair, the number of resumes submitted reached up to 600, and nearly 100 employment intention agreements were initially made.

To improve the success rate of graduates’ resume submission, a special booth of Resume Guidance was set up at the job fair. More than 10 career guidance teachers came to the job fair to help graduates to optimize their resumes, guide them on job hunting and interview skills, and recommend suitable jobs for them.

It is reported that the job fair was originally scheduled to start from November 2nd. Due to the impact of the epidemic, it was adjusted and held as the first offline job fair by the college for the 2022 graduates under the normalization of epidemic prevention and control. Relevant functional departments of the college strictly organized recruiting companies to implement the epidemic prevention and control regulations to ensure the safety and order of the job fair.

To implement decision and deployment by the Party Central Committee, the State Council, the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, and the Hunan Provincial Government on "stabilizing employment" and "guaranteeing employment", the college made great efforts on scientific planning, deployment beforehand, adequate preparation, and effectiveness improvement, which is one of the major measures for the employment and entrepreneurship of the 2022 graduates. Moreover, it is the college’s active implementation of the campus recruitment month event deployment by the Ministry of Education and the package of employment and entrepreneurship measures by the Education Department of Hunan Province. According to the changes in the normalization of the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control work, it provided a platform to meet the demand of college graduates and employers, which was the first session of the serial activities of the 2022 Graduates Campus Recruitment Month.

At the double-election job fair, 4 companies, including Cloud Wings Software and Chayan Yuese- Modern China Tea Shop, held career talks and provided 430 positions, attracting nearly 200 students to participate.
