On the afternoon of July 6, the college held an academic seminar on " language application research". Researcher Feng Chuanshu, director of Hunan Language Training and Testing Center, national language supervision expert, and master's supervisor of Hunan Normal University, was invited to provide academic guidance. The seminar was participated by more than 20 people, including the relevant responsible persons in the Scientific Research Management Office, the Development Planning Office of the College, the Office of International Exchange, the School of Film and Television Arts, and the School of New Media Technology, as well as the hosts of the research projects on the language application in Hunan Province.

Feng Chuanshu gave a keynote speech from the two dimensions of language work and language application research, respectively expounding the history of the development of Chinese and foreign characters, the current status of language work, and the opportunities and challenges faced by the language application research.At the same time, Feng shared his first-hand experience in presiding over major national-level research topics, and his "thoughts on research project", including topic selection, application, research steps, and how to make a good proposal design. He also gave a detailed introduction to the application and construction process of the language application research subject. After the meeting, Feng enthusiastically interacted with the young teachers and answered their questions. The whole seminar was in a warm atmosphere and all participants benefited a lot.
