Recently, three "industrial roads" with an investment of 1 million yuan were completed and accepted for traffic in Xinqiao Village, Longshan County, the counterpart support village of the college in rural revitalization.

"Industrial road" has a total length of 1.91 kilometers, connecting 2 groups of Shangba, 3 groups of Wawutang, and 5 groups of Tanjiaao, which once suffered the inconvenience of transportation in Xinqiao Village, with the main roads of the village. The project is funded by the Finance Department of Hunan Province, which allocates special working funds to the village teams. The village support team of HNMMC, together with the two committees of the village branch of Xinqiao Village, conducted field reconnaissance many times, consolidating the foundation, widening the roadbed, building road supports, and hardening the road. It took one month to complete the three "industrial roads".

The opening of the "industrial road" has more than 1,300 villagers Xinqiao Village with a more convenient life. Villager Li Guozheng has more than 0.13 hectare of farmland on the top of the mountain connected by the industrial road. Before, transportation was inaccessible and agricultural tools such as tractors, small trucks, and tillers could not reach the top of the mountain. During farming season, he had to travel 2 kilometers back and forth to reach their farmland while carrying seeds, fertilizers and pesticides on his shoulders. Hearing that the industrial road was officially opened to traffic, Li Guozhen hurriedly stopped his farm work and trotted all the way to the acceptance site: "My agricultural vehicle can finally be driven into the fields!"

"The road has been built, and so does the road of wealth." Xinqiao Village Party secretary Xiang Kaihui said. The completion of the"Industrial Roads" will not only attract more villagers to "come back from urban areas" to develop their hometown industries, but also facilitate the "going out" of local crops such as lily, kiwi fruit and corn in Xinqiao Village. She firmly believes that Xinqiao Village will usher in new development.
