On March 25, the Party Secretary Yuan Weikun, Deputy Secretary Liu Guoqing, Vice President Lei Junlin and Xie Jingwei visited Changsha Social Work College for exchange and study. The both sides conducted extensive and in-depth exchanges on the Party building, ideological politics, and talent training. Changsha Social Work Party secretary Jiang Xiaoming of College, Deputy Secretary Lai Xiaoping, Vice President Wang Qingguo, Li Ke and heads of related departments (secondary schools) attended the symposium. The relevant principals of the Organization and Personnel Department, the Party and Administration Office, the Publicity and United Front Work Department, the Development Planning Department, the Ideological and Political Department and other departments in HNMMC participated in the investigation and research.

At the meeting, Jiang Xiaoming delivered a welcome speech. He briefly introduced Changsha Social Work College from five perspectives, including adherence to leadership of the Party building, implementation of the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivating talents with “three overall education”; establishing high-level professional groups by emphasizing “two focuses”; deep integration of college and enterprise, collaborative cultivation by the integration of production, education, research, and innovation; deepening the reform of "three educations" to improve the quality of talent training; serving the national strategy and demonstrating the mission of social work.

After listening to Jiang Xiaoming’s introduction, Yuan Weikun expressed his gratitude to the Changsha Social Work College for their hospitality and congratulations on their achievements in promoting the development of high-level vocational college with national characteristics and professional construction. He spoke highly of the college’s outstanding results in the Party building work, “three overall educations” work, advanced schooling conception and high-level teaching and education management mode. After briefly introducing the basic situation of HNMMC, Yuan Weikun emphasized that Changsha Social Work College has been adhering to the school motto of "a benevolent person should love the masses, a gentleman should study extensively and practice earnestly", and become the high ground for the talents cultivation in Hunan vocational education. In the past ten years, Changsha Social Work College has made a series of achievements in the Party building, ideological politics, and talent training, taking a leading role in Hunan vocational education. We should study and learn from it. Firstly, we must strengthen cooperation with Changsha Social Work College, promoting the mutual complementation of the professional advantages to form an integration of superimposed effect. Secondly, we should increase regular exchanges and discussions with him, learning from each other while concentrating efforts to overcome difficulties in improving the quality of schooling. Thirdly, we should strengthen the sharing of results and carry out in-depth cooperation in multiple fields around the Party building, ideological and political education, talents training, integration of production, education and research, and improving the quality of schooling. He hoped that in the future, the two sides will further promote the cooperation, centering on the construction of modern vocational education, and make concerted efforts to improve the level of vocational education in Hunan.

After the meeting, Yuan Weikun and his party, accompanied by Jiang Xiaoming and Lai Xiaoping, visited the Sports and Cultural Exhibition Center of the college to learn more about the their achievements in sports culture and education. Afterwards, Yuan’s delegation visited the Hunan Revolutionary Figures Museum of the college and received the Party spirit education. The vivid pictures, segments of video materials, and precious collections of books fully reproduced the outstanding contributions made by the Hunanese revolutionary figures to the cause of China’s revolution and construction.Yuan Weikun and his party were deeply moved by the revolutionary spirit of the Hunan revolutionary ancestors who gave up their lives and showed no fear of danger and sacrifice. Thanks to the education of the revolutionary traditions, we must deliver positive energy and embrace new challenges when looking back on history and looking forward to the future. Yuan Weikun and his entourage came to the virtual reality teaching area and experienced the "the Growing Path of Young Mao Zedong" VR project. The project reproduced the process of Comrade Mao Zedong's growth, study, and revolutionary life in Hunan in the form of virtual reality. Abundant revolutionary resources and novel learning method left people a deep impression.

Yuan Weikun and his entourage also visited the cswc’s BaiGongZhiShi Museum of Arts and Crafts in the School of Arts. They strongly agreed with the method of disseminating traditional crafts and traditional culture via museum. Yuan reckoned that this museum provided a favorable space for students in the School of Arts to learn and love their specialties and carry out professional education. In addition, it was also a good way to develop traditional cultural education and aesthetic education for other students.
