On January 31, HNMMC organized a branch event of 2020 Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education in the video conference room on the 5th floor of the Studio Building. More than 60 people were present at the meeting, including the college’s party secretary Yuan Weikun, vice president Lei Junlin, the responsible persons of the secondary schools (teaching departments), the directors of the teaching and research sections, and the relevant personnel of the Academic Affairs Office.
With the theme of "Building a New Development Pattern: Improving the Adaptability of Modern Vocational Education", the conference deeply analyzed the new situation, new goals and new tasks faced by the vocational education during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, studied on new ideas, new concept, and new measures of the innovation and development of vocational education and pinpointed the new mission, new actions and new responsibilities of vocational education in the context of a century of change.
In the theme forum "Renaissance of the Overall Situation: the Historical Responsibility of Modern Vocational Education", Lu Xin, chairman of the Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education and former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education, pointed out in her opening speech that modern vocational education should make due contribution to achieve the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. 9 experts and scholars, including Zhou Chaochen, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, academician of the Third World Academy of Sciences, researcher of the Institute of Software of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, shared and exchanged their ideas on "Modern Vocational Education under the Background of New Infrastructure Engergization and Upgrading" and "Big Data Assisting Modern Vocational Education Development Research", etc..
Participants at the conference expressed that the experts and scholars' reports possess a wide field of vision at a high position. Its strong inspiration and guidance helped them have a deeper understanding of vocational education and more confidence to devote themselves to vocational education.
