On November 20, Researcher Zhang Zhijun, Deputy Editor-in-chief of China Education Television, was invited to HNMMC to give an academic lecture entitled "Relevant Thinking of Media Education and Scientific Research in the Context of Great Changes Unseen in a Century". Xu Jingxue, Vice President of the College, attended and presided over the lecture. More than 170 teachers from the secondary schools and related departments participated in the lecture.

From political, economic, cultural, military and other aspects, Zhang Zhijun explained the new international and domestic contexts under the unprecedented changes in a century, and put forward suggestions on how to improve teachers' scientific research capabilities in the new context. The lecture presented rich content with in-depth look, and novel viewpoints, which matched the reality of teachers' professional teaching and scientific research work, and was highly praised by teachers. After the lecture, Zhang Zhijun had an interaction with the audience and answered the teacher's questions.

It is reported that Zhang Zhijun serves as the Deputy Editor-in-chief of China Education Television, the Editor-in-chief of the “Journal of Education and Media Studies”, Research the distinguished Professor of China University of Political Science and Law- employment and exchange “Double Thousand Plan” of the the Ministry of Education, Publicity Department of Central Committee universities and news organizations, an expert enjoying the special State Council government allowances, and a leading personnel in national news publishing industry recommended by the Ministry of Education to the Press and Publication Administration. He also works as a special researcher of Peking University Television Research Center, a doctoral supervisor of Communication University of China, Vice Chairman of the TV Art Theory Research Committee of the China Television Artists Association, and Vice Chairman of China Education Television Association.
