On August 12, the sixth and seventh sessions of the 18th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students were held in HNMMC. The first question was related to a song, named The Smurf, which unexpectedly stumped most of the contestants. Bei Ancheng from Canada was so meticulous that he found the word "cute" which wasn't displayed in the lyrics and deduced the right answer, becoming the only contestant who figured it out.

It was worth mentioning that the contestants also gained a "love strategy" from the ancients during the game. Full of passion, An Zishi from Moldova recited a sentence of a poem, "On the hill there grows lush trees, in my heart there is secret love for thee." His affectionate interpretation of the poem made everyone deeply touched.

After enjoying the scenery of Yiwu, Shunde, Beijing and other cities, the contestants followed the camera of the upperclassman David to Chengdu, rambling in Wide and Narrow Alleys, eating hot pot, visiting the "national treasure" giant panda, and experiencing the spicy and delicious life of Rongcheng. David also visited a special doctor of traditional Chinese medicine in Chengdu, that is Diarra from Africa. Diarra even cured David’s insomnia with acupuncture. All of the contestants were marveled at the profound Chinese medicine culture. However, faced with "look, listen, question and feel the pulse-four ways of diagnosis" in traditional Chinese medicine, Canadian contestant Bei Ancheng encountered a small setback and missed the right answer for his misunderstanding of the Chinese word "Wen". However, he kept calm in the next questions and won excellent scores.

It is reported that the contestants will compete in the last session match before the general final on August 14th, when the Chinese Bridge five continents champions will be officially crowned.
