It marked the competition entering into the rematch stage that the Cross-bridge competition of the 18th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students ended in HNMMC on July 27th. This year's competition has the theme of One World One Family with 157 contestants from 144 competition regions in 122 countries.

The Cross-bridge competition included the written examinations on July 25 and the personal speeches, Q&A sessions, and talent shows on July 26th to 27th. Each result of the four parts will be added to the rematch, accounting for 70% of the total scores of the rematch. The contestants performanced excellently by their talents in the Cross-bridge competition. After the written examination, the score gaps among contestants were gradually widened. In the personal speeches session, every contestant gave a 90-second live speech on the theme of One World One Family. Some contestants affectionately introduced their Chinese friends, some contestants enthusiastically explained their understanding of the One Belt and One Road, some contestants eloquently expressed their Chinese Dream. During the talent shows and the Q&A sessions, the contestants presented Chinese culture and Chinese and foreign art throughout the whole process. They showed not only themselves but also their unique understanding and mastery of Chinese talents. The competition was in an extremely warm atmosphere through frequent interaction.
