On June 25th, the 2019 First Semester International Students Completion Ceremony was held. President Ma Yujun and Vice President Xie Jingwei attended the ceremony. Present at the ceremony also were the persons in charge of rhe Administration Department, the International Exchange Division, the Student Affairs Department, the Academic Affairs Department, the Security Department, the State-owned Assets Management Department, the School of International Communication, the teachers and counselors for international students, foreign teachers, Chinese student representatives, and international students from Germany, Madagascar, Ukraine, Ecuador, Vietnam, and Gambia.

International students have prepared a self-directed report-back performance on their learning achievements. German student Janosch introduced the learning gains and feelings in the past year in Chinese fluently; Ecuadorian student Blanca and German student Nina presented an elegant tea art performance and tasty Chinese tea; Ukrainian students and Chinese Students sang a songs with dances We are not the same; Three Vietnamese students sang a song named Hair Like Snow; Madagascar student Ellie and her companions sang Goodbye; German student Patrick and Gambian student Edriss recited poem Bringing in the Wine and Yellow Crane Tower; Madagascar student Ji Lin sang I Love You, China, bringing the performance to a climax.

The performance has enjoyed a good reputation among leaders, teachers and students. Xie Jingwei, the Vice President of HNMMC, delivered a speech to express his warm congratulations on the successful completion of international students and showed his sincere gratitude to all the faculty responsible for the study and life of international students. President Ma Yujun issued certificates of completion for seven international students, and expected them to contribute to the exchanges and cooperation between their countries and China in the future.
