On April 12th, teachers and students of the School of Film and Television Art participated in the 6th Village (Community) Culture and Arts Festival in Changsha County. The event was sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC, Changsha County Committee and the Changsha County Culture and sports radio and Television Bureau. Teacher Xiao Dongliang and Zhang Yanchun of the performance art specialty respectively directed the dance "Celebration" and the singing group to sing "My Motherland and I". Keeping up with the era and being close to the countryside, these two performances were deeply loved by the people, and won the ripples of applause from the audience. The People’s Daily, Phoenix News, Daily Express, Sina News and other media reported this event.

Its was a practical test of the integration of study and performance, it was a talent training mode-of classroom and stage by Performance Art Specialty group of the college. It was also the cooperation between the Changsha County Culture and sports radio and Television Bureau and HNMMC.
