NationalGold Medal Achievement in National Competition! HNMMC's Innovationand Entrepreneurship Project Won the First Prize of the HigherVocational College Group in National Finals of the 6th ChinaVocational Education Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition
OnMay 30th, the National Finals of the 6th China Vocational EducationInnovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, hosted by the Ministryof Education and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Securityand organized by the China Vocational Education Association,concluded in Deyang City, Sichuan Province. HNMMC'steachers from the School of Management, Mr. Zhu Zhou and Ms.Liao Yanqiong, guided the project titled "Promotion of Rammed-earthConstruction Techniques: Mastering Skills,Strengthening Culture," led by Zhao Jiacheng and co-created bystudents including Ou Xinsheng, Xie Yuxin, Huang Weitao, Wang Tong,and Li Fuming. The project represented our HNMMC and competed with 47outstanding projects from 30 provinces, municipalities, andautonomous regions across the country in the highervocational college group. It stood out from the competitionand won the first prize in the national finals of the highervocational college group. This is the best achievementthe college has obtained in participating in innovationand entrepreneurship competitions so far and also the bestachievement of vocational colleges in Hunan Province in thiscompetition. The closing ceremony was attended by Vice Chairmanof the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Chairmanof the Central Committee of the China National DemocraticConstruction Association, and Chairman of the China VocationalEducation Association, Hao Mingjin; Vice Governor of SichuanProvince, Hu Yun; Vice Chairman of Sichuan Provincial CPPCC,Chairman of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the China NationalDemocratic Construction Association, Xie Shanghua, and others, whopresented awards to the first prize-winning projects.
TheChina Vocational Education Innovation and EntrepreneurshipCompetition is the largest, highest-level, and most influentialvocational education innovation and entrepreneurship event in thecountry, representing the highest level of vocational collegeinnovation and entrepreneurship education in China. The competition,through "promoting teaching, learning and innovationthrough competition," is committed to becoming an importantcarrier and platform for deepening the reform of innovation andentrepreneurship education in vocational colleges. This substantialnational first prize achievement was not easy to obtain. It was theresult of countless days and nights of perseverance and hard work bythe participating teachers and students, as well as the highattention from the school leadership and strong support from relevantdepartments. Before the national finals, the Secretary of CPCHNMMC Committee, Li Sanfu, personally participated in research,supervised and promoted "innovation and entrepreneurship,"and sincerely greeted and encouraged the students who were workinghard on project preparation, saying, "Let ideals and beliefssublimate in entrepreneurial struggle, and let youth shine ininnovation and creation!"
TheVice President Lei Junlin, and the head of the Enrollment andEmployment Guidance Office personally attended the final competitionto provide project guidance and care for the participating players,adjusting their state and cheering them on.
Theproject went through four seasons under the guidance of the teachers,from submitting the application in June 2022 to the national finalsin late May of this year, and experienced school-level competitions,provincial competitions, and blind reviews in the national finals.The project roadshow at the national finals was ingenious andrefreshing. The participating players answered the judges' questionsseriously and provided in-depth and meticulous answers regarding thefeasibility, novelty, and applicability of the project. Thecompetition site received enthusiastic responses and continuousapplause, fully reflecting the achievements ofthe college's innovation and entrepreneurshipeducation and the cultivation of "social responsibility andpractical ability" among our teachers and students. In thefuture, HNMMC will continue to implement the spirit of the20th CPC National Congress, carry out "entrepreneurshipand innovation" education for young students, and help themfully integrate into innovation and entrepreneurship practice. Wewill continuously improve our innovation and entrepreneurshipeducation and incubate more outstanding projects.
