Recently, the finals of the Hunan College Students’ Innovation Competition (2024), organized by multiple departments including the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, successfully concluded at Hunan First Normal University. In this competition, five participating teams from our college achieved outstanding results, winning two first prizes, two second prizes, and one third prize, fully demonstrating the exceptional qualities of our media students, who are both daring and creative.
Since the launch of the competition, HNMMC has responded actively, placing great emphasis on nurturing innovation competition projects. The college provided comprehensive support to the participating teams, closely monitoring their preparation, and invited experts and instructors to conduct multiple rounds of online and offline project refinement sessions and specialized training. This helped our students shine in the competition and achieve remarkable success.
It is reported that the Hunan College Students’ Innovation Competition (2024) attracted over 479,000 projects and 1.78 million participants from 149 schools across the province. After several rounds of selection, a total of 393 projects advanced to the provincial finals. In this year's competition, both the number of awards and the levels of distinction HNMMC achieved reached a historic high.
HNMMC will continue to deepen its principle of "innovation as the driving force, and education as the foundation". Using innovation and entrepreneurship competitions as a platform and relying on innovation and entrepreneurship incubation bases, we will focus on cultivating students' entrepreneurial awareness and abilities. By leveraging our academic strengths and highlighting our professional features, we aim to promote research and learning through competitions, foster a strong atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship, enhance students' awareness of taking initiative and being creative, and actively advance high-quality entrepreneurship efforts. We strive to inject new momentum into the high-quality development of our college.
