Recently, a study tour for senior media professionals from Latin American countries, organized by the Research and Training Institute of National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA), visited our college. The delegation toured the college's Omni-Media Training Lab and the Hunan Broadcasting and Television Program Production Base, followed by a discussion session. Zhu Dan, member of the CPC Committee and Vice President of HNMMC, attended the event and introduced the college's "front-stage and back-stage" and "integrating media into the campus" educational models, as well as the college's development achievements in recent years. Wang Tao, Director of the International Exchange Office, engaged in interactive discussions with the participants on topics such as the "Chinese Language + Media" program for international students and the "Chinese Bridge" initiative. The session was hosted by Xu Deya, Dean of the School of Continuing Education, with other relevant department heads in attendance.
This visit was coordinated and guided by the Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau and undertaken by our School of Continuing Education. The participants of the study tour came from 10 different countries, including Cuba, Colombia, and Panama. During their stay in Changsha, the group visited various media outlets and enterprises, including Hunan Broadcasting System, Changsha Broadcasting and Television Station, Mango TV, the 5G Smart Radio Station at Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Park, and TVZONE. They also visited cultural and rural revitalization demonstration sites such as the Hunan Museum, Xinming Village, Tianhan Community, and Huaguo Village in Guoyuan Town of Changsha County. The participants were deeply impressed by the advanced technology of Hunan's broadcasting and television industry and the rich Huxiang culture.
It is reported that to successfully host this project, the School of Continuing Education formed a team to collaborate on planning, execution, and support, ensuring smooth implementation of all activities during the study tour. With the support and cooperation of all parties, the college successfully completed all tasks related to the study tour and visit of the training program participants to Hunan, receiving high recognition from the Research and Training Institute of NRTA. Moving forward, the School of Continuing Education will continue to explore a "three-in-one" training mechanism for the industry, further delve into the field of media training, integrate high-quality resources, and strive to provide even higher-quality training services to support the industry's development as well as economic and social progress.
