On June 24th, the final competition of the 11th "Challenge Cup" College Students Entrepreneurship Competition of Hunan Province, co-sponsored by Hunan Provincial Committee of Communist Youth League, Hunan Provincial Department of Education, Hunan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Hunan Association for Science and Technology, Chasing Financial, and Students’ Federation of Hunan Province, concluded successfully. The project "One Leap to Fame—Experts in Creating New Scenarios of National Style Urban IP with Integrity and Innovation" from our School of Film and Television Art won the gold award in the vocational college group; the project "Turning Clay into Vessels—Innovative Inheritance of Intangible Cultural Heritage and Revitalization of the Ceramic Industry" from the School of Visual Art received the silver award; while the project "Craftsman of Chu—Woodcraft Skills for the Future" from the School of Visual Art and the project "Red Wind and Cloud History: An Immersive Script Murder Mystery in Pingjiang County" from the School of Management both won bronze awards.
It is reported that this year's competition, which started in March, received enthusiastic responses from colleges and universities across the province, attracting over 200,000 teachers and students from more than 100 institutions, with 809 entries qualifying for the provincial competition. After evaluation, 247 projects were selected for the final round.
HNMMC will use this achievement as an opportunity to continue leading with the "Challenge Cup" and "Internet+" series of innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, focusing on project cultivation and promoting the transformation of practical results. We aim to enhance education, learning and innovation through competitions, and guide young students to engage in innovative practices while upholding their ideals and striving for innovation, thus contributing to the advancement of innovation and entrepreneurship education to a higher level and supporting the comprehensive promotion of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese-style modernization.
