On May 13th, HNMMC and the Hunan Education Television Station convened the second joint working meeting, focusing on the establishment of the "College-Station Industry-Education Integration Development Center" and the advancement of preliminary cooperation projects.
In order to implement the Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Modern Vocational Education System issued by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, explore the construction of the modern vocational education system, deepen the "front-stage and back-stage" education model, in 2023, our college and Hunan Education Television Station agreed to establish the "College-Station Industry-Education Integration Development Center". The center is planned to cover an area of nearly 3000 square meters, with plans to implement six major projects including college student internships and practical training, playlet venture investment, integrated and innovative communication for rural revitalization, "dual-qualified" teacher training, college student innovation and entrepreneurship, and cultural and creative brand incubation. With the aim of synergistic education, the college and the station are committed to deeply integrating development in aspects such as industry, education, research, service, competition, and innovation, exploring and implementing the systematic construction of modern vocational education, and striving to be the first in the country to create a successful model of "front-stage and back-stage" industry-education integration .
In his speech, He Zhanbing, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of HNMMC, emphasized the need to implement the spirit of the speech made by Shen Xiaoming, Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, during his visit to Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College, to promote the integration of talent training and cultural industry with new technologies, and to build a distinctive applied college. He Zhanbing proposed the principle of college-station cooperation: "Don't forget the original intention, and continue to move forward." Not forgetting the original intention means not forgetting the original intention of "front-stage and back-stage"cooperation, and continuing to move forward means to make the work better, bigger, and more practical on the basis of complementary advantages between the college and the station. He looks forward to high-level planning and efficient promotion of cooperative projects, so as to truly realize the high-quality development of both sides.
Ning Jinghua, Deputy Director of Hunan Education Television Station, reported on the preparatory work of the center in the past year and the landing planning of preliminary projects after the establishment of the center. Zhang Yonghong, member of the CPC Committee and Deputy Director of Hunan Education Television Station, proposed the "four integration principles" for the joint construction of the center, namely, integration of education and teaching, integration of talent training, integration of projects, and integration of achievements, and put forward planning and development roadmaps for the college and the station in terms of base construction, project incubation, content innovation, and team building.
The meeting was chaired by Shen Jianfei, member of the CPC Committee and Vice President of HNMMC. Deans of various secondary schools and relevant department heads of the college, as well as program producers and project leaders from Hunan Education Television Station, attended the meeting. Both parties also conducted in-depth discussions on converting project resources into teaching resources, implementing talent training into curriculum teaching, and enhancing the reputation of the college and the station through the combination of science and technology with cultural achievements.
It is reported that the "College-Station Industry-Education Integration Development Center" will be officially inaugurated in the near future.
