Recently, the curtain fell on the 15th Cross-Strait TV Hosting New Talent Competition. In this competition, Liu Jinxi, a student from the Broadcasting and Hosting major of our School of Film and Television Art, won fourth place nationwide, setting a new record for our province in this event.
It is reported that a total of 25 provinces and cities participated in this competition nationwide. Our student stood out from many university participants in Hunan Province, and after several rounds of selection, advanced to the onsite competition in Taining, Fujian, alongside two contestants from Hunan University of Technology and Hunan University of Information Technology. The onsite competition was divided into two rounds: the semi-final and the final. The semi-final saw 75 contestants from 25 provinces and cities competing fiercely, and ultimately, 25 contestants made it to the final. With solid professional skills, our student Liu Jinxi successfully entered the final round.
In the final, Liu Jinxi, as the only student from a vocational college, competed on the same stage with contestants from 985, 211, "Double First-Class" universities, and Taiwan. With her confident and enthusiastic demeanor, solid professional foundation, and rich practical experience, she won unanimous praise from the audience and the judges. She fully demonstrated the positive spirit of our students and the high-quality teaching level of our college.
