Recently, a delegation led by Xu Qingjun, a member of the CPC Committee and Vice President of Changsha Normal University, visited HNMMC to conduct research on talent cultivation for the "Chuyi Craftsman Program" class. Shen Jianfei, a member of the CPC Committee and Vice President of our college, attended the research activities.

Shen Jianfei extended a warm welcome to Xu Qingjun and his delegation, expressing the hope that the two institutions would continue to collaborate closely, share resources, and complement each other's strengths to cultivate more high-quality and highly skilled "Chuyi Craftsmen". He emphasized the importance of practical cooperation in talent cultivation, teaching and research, and industry-education integration between the two institutions, aiming to achieve more fruitful results and contribute positively to the beautiful vision of "Three Hubs and Four Missions" and the strategy of strengthening the province through education.

At the meeting, Li Huiyi, Dean of the School of New Media Technology, reported on the implementation of the "Chuyi Craftsman Program" class. Student representatives from the program shared their learning experiences since enrollment and their future plans. Teachers from the two institutions had thorough discussions on student management, curriculum design, organizational forms of teaching, competition training, teacher exchanges, and the sharing of practical training resources for the program.

The "Chuyi Craftsman Program" is a pilot project jointly implemented by vocational colleges and undergraduate universities, initiated by the Department of Education of Hunan Province. It aims to deeply implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, serve the major strategic needs of the country and the province, and accelerate the cultivation of undergraduate-level technical and skilled talents. Our college was included in the first batch of pilot colleges and universities and collaborates with Changsha Normal University to jointly cultivate undergraduate students in the Electronic Information Engineering major. In 2023, a total of 87 students were enrolled in this program. The project has established a "3+1" collaborative education model of "school (vocational college) - enterprise - school (undergraduate institution)", where students spend three years at school and one year in enterprise training, thus enriching our college's experience in undergraduate-level talent cultivation and laying a solid foundation for improving our educational level.

Relevant leaders from the Academic Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office, Youth League Committee, and the School of New Media Technology, as well as student representatives, participated in the research meeting.
