From March 26th to 29th, the 10th Counselor Quality and Ability Competition was held in the Video Conference Room of the Broadcasting Building. A total of 78 full-time and part-time counselors participated in the competition. The preliminary round consisted of two events: basic knowledge test and descriptive positioning, while the final round included three events: educational case sharing, heart-to-heart conversations, and case discussions. During the competition, the contestants showcased their professionalism and comprehensive abilities with ease, demonstrating their level of education and professional ethics, which earned unanimous praise from the judges and audience.
After four days of intense competition, Zhang Wanyu won the first prize in the individual category, while Peng Baixue, Zhu Wenyan, and Wang Fei won the second prize. Additionally, Zou Yuan, Wang Yuzhi, Li Aiwei, Zhou Xi, Zeng Chengwei, and Chen Qianqian won the third prize. The School of Visual Art won the first prize in the group category, followed by the School of International Communication in second place, and the School of Film and Television Art in third place.
The Counselor Quality and Ability Competition serves as a "major training ground" for enhancing the comprehensive abilities of counselors and also as a "grand stage" for showcasing the counselors of our college who never forget their original intentions and strive forward. The college will take this competition as an opportunity to emphasize training through competition and actively prepare for provincial competition. This will further stimulate the enthusiasm of the counselor team, enhance their quality and ability, build a strong team for ideological and political work in colleges, and effectively shoulder the fundamental task of cultivating morality and nurturing talents, as well as the mission and responsibility of nurturing new generations in the era.
