From the 26th to the 27th, Shen Xiaoming, Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, conducted special research on the integration of culture and technology development and presided over a symposium, emphasizing the need to deeply study and implement Xi Jinping's thought on culture as well as important speeches and directives made by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of Hunan. Shen Xiaoming visited Changsha University, Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College, and Hunan Vocational College of Art, inspecting facilities such as the Omni-media Center Laboratory, XR Broadcasting Area, Hunan Broadcasting System program production base, and Omni-media Training Room. He gained a detailed understanding of the development of the colleges, layout of majors, college-enterprise cooperation, and the deep integration of new technologies in talent cultivation and cultural industries. He pointed out the need to deepen the integration of industry and education, promote the development of college-enterprise cooperation towards resource-intensive development, encourage more industry professionals to teach in schools, and create distinctive applied universities.
Entering the Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Industry Park, Shen Xiaoming inspected facilities such as the No. 9 Studio of Letian Zhizuo, Malanshan Video Supercomputing Center, Juheng Science and Technology Park, Key Laboratory of National Radio and Television Administration for 5G High-Tech Video Multi-scenario Application, and Wanxing Technology Large Model Research and Development Center. He gained a detailed understanding of the entire process of program production, software and hardware research and development, supercomputing and large model empowerment of the audio and video industry, animation industry aggregation, and innovation platform research and application. He also inspected intelligent equipment at Minghe Optoelectronics, understanding the innovation and development of cultural and tourism equipment such as stage machinery and artistic lighting. He emphasized the need to fully leverage the leading role of top enterprises, attract more upstream and downstream enterprises and resource elements for the integration of culture and technology to gather in Hunan, further enhance independent innovation capabilities in key areas, achieve domestic substitution, and provide one-stop service solutions to create a never-ending exhibition of audio and video equipment.
At the symposium, after listening to speeches from representatives of enterprises and experts in related fields of the integration of culture and technology development, Shen Xiaoming pointed out that promoting the integration of culture and technology is a practical path for Hunan to implement Xi Jinping's thought on culture and better fulfill the cultural mission of the new era. It is also a significant action taken to develop new quality productive forces according to local conditions and promote high-quality development.
