On the afternoon of March 20th, the first "College Leadership Reception Day" event of 2024 was held at the School of Marxism. He Zhanbing, Deputy Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee and President, along with Li Yunfeng, Member of the CPC HNMMC Committee and and Director of the Organization and Personnel Department, and heads of various functional departments such as the Academic Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office, Party and Government Affairs Office, and Admissions and Employment Office, provided answers to the questions posed by students and faculty members. The event consisted of two parts: a student forum and a teacher forum, mainly focusing on issues related to students' employment prospects and teachers' career development.

During the student forum, students asked President He Zhanbing numerous questions. These included: how can students secure full employment in the context of the widespread promotion of AI technology? What kind of students are more likely to meet the requirements of enterprises? What good suggestions does the president have regarding professional studies? How should students choose between employment and further studies? What are the college's requirements and assistance for students' internships and practical training? He Zhanbing praised the students for their diligence in thinking. He discussed the recent iterations and breakthroughs in AI and the buzzword "new quality productive forces" from the Two Sessions, encouraging students from all disciplines to align with the times and prepare actively for employment. He urged them to become strategic talents capable of creating new quality productive forces and applied talents proficient in new quality means of production. He also suggested that students focus on improving their overall qualities in five aspects: political literacy, innovation, self-learning, professional knowledge, and communication skills. For young teachers, the college will introduce relevant policies and management measures to provide more support and incentives. For mid-career teachers, support will be provided by strengthening service guarantees, improving growth mechanisms, and creating quality platforms for their career advancement and entrepreneurship. He emphasized that every teacher should have a greater sense of happiness and fulfillment.
