Recently, the first College Students’ Career Planning Competition of Hunan Province successfully concluded. In the fierce competition, the six projects submitted by HNMMC stood out, winning five provincial-level awards, including one first prize, one second prize, and one third prize in the “growth” track, and two second prizes in the “employment” track. The college also received the "Excellent Organization Award" at the provincial level.
The competition, themed “Building Young People’s Dreams and Setting Sail for the Future”, aimed to guide college students in establishing correct views on talent development, employment, and career choice, as well as promoting effective talent supply and demand matching. The competition attracted active participation from 646,200 college students representing 134 colleges and universities across the province. The award-winning contestants made career plans for their target positions based on their respective fields of study. They demonstrated their self-awareness, employment goals, practical experience, competencies, practical achievements, and future plans, discussing their career aspirations and planning their future directions.
HNMMC attached great importance to this competition, carefully organized the campus-level contest, rigorously selected projects, and arranged for teachers and students to repeatedly revise and refine their work. Through the model of promoting learning, teaching, and employment through competition, the college students’ career planning competition has truly become a grand classroom for strengthening career education. Alongside the main event, various employment guidance and campus recruitment activities were carried out, with concerted efforts to promote the high-quality and full employment of the graduates.
