To serve the regional economic development of Changsha County and boost rural revitalization, adapting to the rapidly emerging new economic formats such as live streaming and short videos, and to cultivate more professional talents in rural e-commerce, the School of Continuing Education has organized a specialized training class on rural e-commerce practices. On the morning of January 16, more than 40 people including Zhu Dan, member of HNMMC’s CPC Committee and Vice President, and relevant leaders, teachers and students from the School of Continuing Education, participated in the opening ceremony of the training class. Liu Bing, Vice Dean of the School of Continuing Education, hosted the ceremony.
The opening ceremony began with the majestic and solemn national anthem. Xu Deya, Dean of the School of Continuing Education, delivered a welcome speech. He warmly welcomed all participants of the training class and pointed out that the development of e-commerce is booming, and the rural e-commerce market has shown tremendous potential. On the grand road of rural revitalization, rural e-commerce and live streaming have a lot to offer and a promising future.
Yang Zhe, a college student from a farming background representing all the participants of the training class, made a speech. He thanked the college for providing the platform for learning and promised on behalf of all the students to cherish this hard-won learning opportunity, to study theoretical knowledge seriously, to apply what they have learned, and to help with the development of the rural economy.
Nie Wenhui, the project leader, explained the training implementation plan, specific arrangements, and discipline requirements to the participants.
It is learned that this training class, combining the actual practice of live streaming sales in rural areas, has prepared a rich training content for a period of 5 days for the participants. The new-type farmers participating in the training cover more than 10 towns (sub-districts) in Changsha County.
The School of Continuing Education has innovated the training method, insisting on student-centered learning, and has constructed a training model that combines theory and practice, online and offline, centralized and decentralized, striving to solve practical problems in real scenarios with solid theoretical knowledge, and training more new farmers for rural revitalization.
