Recently, the first World Chinese Language Conference was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee, Li Sanfu, was invited to attend the conference, and Deputy Secretary Xie Jingwei was also invited to be present.
The theme of this conference was "Chinese for the World, Openness into the Future". It was hosted by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and co-organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, the China International Chinese Language Education Foundation, and the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching. Approximately 2,000 representatives from over 160 countries and regions around the world, including officials from government education departments, heads of international language and culture institutions, and renowned experts in Chinese language education, attended this grand event.
The "Panda World" Chinese teaching resource package, developed in cooperation with the Confucius Institute in Santiago, and the "Panda Literacy" interactive game independently developed by our college's teachers and students, were exhibited at the conference's language exhibition. Both received unanimous praise from Chinese and foreign delegates present. During the exhibition, Wang Renxiang, the Deputy Director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, and his delegation visited our college's exhibition area. They affirmed our college's innovative achievements in the field of international Chinese language education and encouraged our college to continue advancing and striving for excellence in the cause of international Chinese language education.
