Recently, a delegation of 10 members led by Vice President Abdulla Sadig from Villa College, Maldives, visited our college. Li Sanfu, Secretary of the CPC Committee, and He Zhanbing, President of the college, met with the delegation members, with Xie Jingwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee, accompanying the meeting.
He Zhanbing extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Villa College, Maldives. He expressed that our college and Villa College have actively explored cooperation in various fields such as talent cultivation, faculty development, vocational skills training, and scientific research based on the collaboration in the Chinese Language Center, laying a solid foundation for the development of the Chinese Language Center and the friendship between the two colleges. He hoped that through in-depth exchanges and innovative cooperation, the two colleges could promote mutual learning and mutual benefit in education and civilization, and jointly contribute to the continuous development of the "Belt and Road" initiative.
Sadig expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic reception by HNMMC. He introduced feasible collaboration plans between Villa College and our college, looking forward to deepening exchanges and cooperation in teacher and student exchange, professional student training, vocational skills training, innovation and entrepreneurship education, etc., based on the development of the Chinese Language Center. This would promote mutual benefit and common development between the two colleges and play an active role in enhancing people-to-people friendship between the two countries.
During the symposium, representatives from relevant departments, secondary schools, and related professional teachers exchanged views and discussed issues of common interest and concern with the representatives from Villa College.
Before the meeting, President Abdulla Sadig and his delegation visited HNMMC's historical museum, all-media training room, international Chinese language and culture dissemination base, and the production base of Hunan Broadcasting System for program production. They also visited the affiliated Xingsha Experimental Primary School of the college, where they watched the presentation and exhibition of artistic activities and student technology and art works under the theme of "Colorful Clubs, Blossoming 'Five Development' After-school Services".
