Recently, in the just-concluded 2024 "Chuyi Cup" Hunan Provincial Skills Competition for Vocational Colleges, the teachers and students of the School of Visual Art achieved remarkable results in multiple events, winning 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, and 2 third prizes.
Among these achievements, the team of Chen Xiwen and Xie Bei won the first place in the "Environmental Art Design" event, receiving the provincial first prize and qualifying for the national competition; the team of Li Jiangning and Zhao Xujing won the second place in the same event. The team of Qi Xiaoying and Chen Jingbo achieved one second prize and one third prize in the "Digital Construction of Architectural Decoration" event (teachers and students compete together). The team composed of Yuan Jinge, Zhao Xujing, Li Jiangning, and Chen Xiwen won one second prize and one third prize in the "Architectural Engineering Drawing Recognition" event.
During the competition, the participants competed on the same stage, showcasing their superb professional skills and excellent vocational qualities. At the same time, through exchanges and learning from other participating colleges, the teams were inspired with more creative ideas. The competition greatly enhanced the students' practical abilities, improving their competitive level, psychological quality, adaptability, and competitiveness in the future job market.
The School of Visual Art will take this opportunity to further integrate competition with education and reform, actively prepare for the national competition, and quickly translate the achievements of the competition into concrete actions for the "three teachings" reform.
