On December 3rd, the closing ceremony of three events, i.e. Environmental Art Design, Digital Product Design and Development, and Integrated Media Content Planning and Production, for the high vocational and technical group of the 2024 "Chuyi Cup" Hunan Provincial Skills Competition for Vocational Colleges, was held at the Academic Lecture Hall of the Library in HNMMC competition site.
The director of the competition site and the college president, He Zhanbing, along with the first deputy director sent by the province, Zhang Dejun, and the responsible persons for the provincial competition items, Hu Zhicheng, Chen Qiming, and Huang Guo, as well as the chief judges Mo Meifeng, Long Han, and Chen Shufang, the vice-director of the competition site and the vice president of the college, Shen Jianfei, and representatives of participating brother colleges, guiding teachers, and student representatives attended the closing ceremony. Shen Jianfei presided over the closing ceremony.
He Zhanbing summarized the organization of the event. He stated that vocational college skills competitions are an effective way to promote the growth of high-skilled talents, showcase the exquisite skills of skilled talents, and comprehensively evaluate the achievements and levels of talent training in vocational colleges across the province. This competition had tight schedules, heavy tasks, and a large lineup. To organize the event well, the college leaders attached great importance to it, the expert judges were rigorous and responsible, departments cooperated with each other, and the staff provided meticulous services, successfully completing the organization of the event. The college will take the opportunity of hosting this competition to further promote the deep implementation of vocational education reform, strengthen connotation construction, and cultivate more skilled talents for society.
Zhang Dejun summarized the work of the event. On behalf of the organizing committee of the competition, he warmly congratulated the successful holding of the event and the excellent performance of the participants in the competition. He stated that this competition was a wonderful and successful event, a comprehensive review of the vocational skills of students majoring in cultural arts, journalism and communication, and electronic information in Hunan, and also a high-quality platform for exchanges, learning, and talent discovery for teachers and students of vocational colleges in Hunan. This competition will further stimulate the enthusiasm and initiative of students in vocational colleges to study diligently and practice skills, and promote the high-quality development of vocational education across the province.
The chief judges Chen Shufang, Long Han, and Mo Meifeng respectively made detailed summaries and wonderful comments on the competition situations of the participants in each competition item. They fully affirmed the performance of the participating students, their meticulous attitude, skilled techniques, good quality, and enthusiastic spirit left a deep impression on everyone, perfectly showcasing their excellent professional skills. At the same time, they also objectively and impartially pointed out the problems and shortcomings of the participants during the competition.

Subsequently, the person in charge of the provincial competition items announced the competition results, and the leaders and guests present at the closing ceremony awarded medals and certificates of honor to the winning teams.
It is reported that a total of 85 team awards were produced in this competition, including 15 first prizes, 28 second prizes, and 42 third prizes. After intense competition, our college's students won a total of 6 first prizes.
