On November 18th, the finals of the 2023 National Vocational Skills Competition - the 2nd National Industrial and Information Technology Skills Competition concluded successfully in Shaoxing, Zhejiang. In this competition, the team composed of students Chen Jinjie and Chen Ankun, guided by teacher Zou Xin from our School of New Media Technology, won the second prize in the student group for the 5G+Virtual Reality Development Application category.
Students from the School of New Media Technology demonstrated a strong level of professional skills in this national competition, with Chen Jinjie and Chen Ankun achieving excellent results following their first prize at the 2nd Hunan Provincial Industrial and Information Technology Skills Competition. Before the competition, the guiding teacher developed a detailed plan and led the students to prepare earnestly, reflecting the School of New Media Technology's faculty and students' willingness to challenge themselves and pursue excellence.
It is reported that the 2nd National Industrial and Information Technology Skills Competition is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Education, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, classifying it as a first-tier vocational skills competition.
