Recently, the 8th Hunan Network Original Audiovisual Program Competition concluded successfully. In this competition, faculty and students from our college collectively achieved 4 first prizes, 7 second prizes, and 11 third prizes. Among them, the team led by Zhang Miao, a teacher from the School of Journalism and Communication, consisting of students Yu Zihui, Zhang Yiyun, and Huang Menghao, created the short film "Walking on the Broad Country Road", winning the first prize in the college student drama short film category. Another teacher from the School of Journalism and Communication, Yin Niyating, guided student Yang Jingwen in creating the documentary short film "Dreams in the Deep Mountains", which won the first prize in the college student documentary short film category. Additionally, films "The Hemp of China" by student Shen Pengyu and "Which XING (Star) Represents Changsha" by student Zhou Yu, also guided by Teacher Yin, won the first prize in the college student public welfare short film/advertisement category.

The 8th Hunan Network Original Audiovisual Program Competition was jointly organized by the Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, the Office of the Cybersecurity and Informatization Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, and Hunan Broadcasting System. The participating teams came from undergraduate institutions and vocational colleges across the province. Our college's faculty and students demonstrated a strong level of professional competence in this competition. In the future, the college will use various skill competitions as an opportunity to actively create a favorable atmosphere of "promoting learning, teaching, research and improvement through competitions", and will continue to deepen educational and teaching reforms, vigorously cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents.
