The Labor Union of HNMMC, in collaboration with the Hunan Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital, organized a "Pink Ribbon Month · Empower Her Health" women's health salon on October 31st in the Video Conference Room of the Broadcasting Building. Nearly a hundred faculty and students of the college participated.
Xiao Lixin, Director of the Breast Surgery Department at Hunan Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital, delivered a lecture on the theme "Caring for the Breasts, Maintaining Physical and Mental Health", providing vivid illustrations and introducing preventive measures for breast cancer. Dr. Liang Huizhen, Director of the Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Department at Hunan Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital, imparted knowledge on women's health and wellness.
After the lecture, Director Xiao Lixin and Dr. Liang Huizhen conducted a free medical consultation activity, allowing faculty and students to engage in face-to-face discussions with the experts and seek advice on health issues. The atmosphere at the venue was enthusiastic, and participants expressed that the event significantly contributed to establishing a scientific approach to health, benefiting their work, studies, and overall life with a healthy mind and body.
