On September 27th, the Deputy Director of the Department of Vocational and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education, Li Yingli, and the Deputy Director of the Department of Teachers’ Work, Weng Bo, led a delegation to conduct research at HNMMC. Accompanying them were Li Sanfu, Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee, President He Zhanbing, Deputy Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee Xie Jingwei, and Vice Presidents Xu Jingxue, Lei Junlin, and Shen Jianfei.
In the Comprehensive All-Media Training Room, the research group observed the routine virtual simulation teaching and training conducted by the teachers and students of our college in "Chuyi" high-level majors group in Hunan Province, including journalism, publishing, radio, film and television, animation, and art design, as well as new media technology. Li Yingli, while in the all-media interactive area, immersed himself in the virtual reality experience by wearing VR glasses and watched the first-ever animated film on the theme of great figures in China, "Young Mao Zedong," created by our teachers and students. He also inquired in detail about the progress of the construction of the training center and the promotion of practical training teaching.
The research group also visited the program production base jointly built by HNMMC and Hunan Broadcasting System. He Zhanbing highlighted to the research group how our college, using this base as a starting point, seamlessly integrates three major bases: school-station cooperation, professional training, and international Chinese language communication. He elaborated on our ongoing comprehensive cooperation with leading enterprises such as Hunan Satellite TV and Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Industry Park, innovating the integration of the cultural and creative industry chain with the talent training chain.
"We are both practitioners of professional knowledge and skills and producers of online educational works". In HNMMC's Integrated Media Center, which combines ideological and political education, news and public opinion propaganda, and professional practical training, student reporters proficiently demonstrated the collection, editing, and multi-channel dissemination process of a news story. Li Yingli and Weng Bo encouraged students to make full use of the college's independently constructed high-level training base, which seamlessly connects "teaching, learning, doing, training, creating, and researching", and strive to create popular and influential high-quality integrated media products.
Qiu Yi, Deputy Director of the Teaching Division of the Department of Vocational and Adult Education, Cheng Bojing, Officer of the Teaching Division, and Cui Shufang, Director of the Vocational and Adult Education Division of the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, as well as Chen Wenjing, Chief Editor of "Hunan Education" Vocational Education Edition, participated in the research.
