On July 21st, the "Floral Art" competition in the vocational college group of the 2023 National Vocational College Skills Competition concluded at the China Pavilion in the Kunming World Horticultural Expo Garden, Yunnan. Fifty-nine representative teams from 30 provinces and cities across the country competed on the same stage. Led by the Vice President of HNMMC, Shen Jianfei, student Xie Fulin, guided by teachers Wen Jingzi and Chen Xiwen from the School of Visual Arts, fearlessly faced strong competition and made a valiant effort, securing a national second prize in their first participation in a national competition.
The competition included two categories: traditional Chinese floral art creation and modern floral art creation. Through this competition, it comprehensively demonstrated the teaching achievements of HNMMC in implementing a competition-oriented education approach, promoting educational reforms and major construction, carrying forward the spirit of artistic craftsmanship, and inheriting the excellent traditional culture of our country.
